PicsArt Editing: Tree Light Bulb | Tree under a Light Bulb

PicsArt Tree Light Bulb is an Art created using a Light Bulb and a Tree to form an image blended together, well.

Hello There! This is Daimary John and in this PicsArt Editing Tutorial, PicsArt Tree Light. We will learn how to create a very popular and a creative way of using a Light Bulb to create amazing Art. For this particular project, make sure to learn How to use the Layer Tool. Because the Layer Tool is what makes this project successfully successful.

So let’s get to know how I did it.

Step 1. Pick an image of a Light Bulb. This is easily available on Pexels. Try to choose one with an Empty background and also try to pick one with little to no interior. I meant with the Filament thing. But it’s ok if you can find one.

Step 2. Now pick an image of a Tree. Any image of your choice would do. I chose an image with a little dark background with a sunrise. Again. This image is also from Pexels. You can also get yourself one from Pexels. You can also choose other images such as water, fish, splash to create an underwater scene. And etc and etc.

Step 3. Open the light bulb. And start to erase all the unwanted areas in the inside of the Light Bulb. We don’t need it. We need to clear the inside because we need space to fit it the Tree.

I used a White Soft brush to cover up the unwanted areas.

Step 4. Now copy this layer and create a new empty Layer. Make sure to drag the Empty Layer in the between.

Step 5. This is going to get a little tricky since we need to do a lot of adjustments to our Layers. So follow along exactly the same.

Step 6. Post Step 4, head on to the top layer and lower the Opacity to around 30%. Once done. Move to the last Layer, the bottom layer and Lock it by tapping on the Eye Icon. Now head back to the middle layer, which is the blank layer. Now you can close the layer.

Step 7. Go to Add Photos and select the image of the Tree.

Step 8. Do all the necessary adjustments such as the Size, Location etc. Once you are ok with all the adjustments. Go ahead and Undo Step 6.

Step 9. We are all almost done with the project. All we left to do is Blend the Top Layer. Go to the Top Layer and change it’s Blending mode to “Multiply”. This will fuse the First Layer with the Second Layer.

Step 10. There we go. We have successfully blended the two Layers. So now move to the middle layer (the layer of the tree) and erase all the unwanted areas.
