What is PicsArt Tree Bulb Effect?

PicsArt Tree Bulb or A Tree under a Bulb is an Art created using an image of a “Light Bulb” and a “Tree” to form an image, well blended together.

It is one of the most popular way of using an image of a Light Bulb to create an Art.

How To create a Tree Bulb Effect in PicsArt?

In order to create a Tree Bulb Effect in PicsArt. Follow the Step by Step Instructions provided below.

Step 1 : Choose an image of a Light Bulb.

Do try to choose one with an empty background and also try to pick one with little to no interior. I meant with the Filament thing. But it’s ok if you can find one.

Step 2 : Choose another image. This time, an image of a Tree.

The image above is of a Tree with a little dark background and a sunset.

Step 3 : Open the image of the Light Bulb in PicsArt and start to erase all the unwanted areas in the inside of the Light Bulb. We don’t need it.

We need to clear the inside because we need space to fit in the Tree.

I used a White Soft brush to cover up the unwanted areas.

Step 4 : Now copy this Layer and create a new empty Layer.

Make sure to drag the Empty Layer in the between.

Step 5 : This is going to get a little tricky since we need to do a lot of adjustments to our Layers. So follow along exactly the same.

Step 6 : Post Step 4, head on to the top Layer and lower the Opacity to around 30%.

Once done, move to the last Layer, the bottom Layer and Lock it by tapping on the Eye Icon.

Now head back to the middle Layer, which is the blank Layer. Now you can close the Layer Tool.

Step 7 : Go to Add Photos and select the image of the Tree.

Step 8 : Do all the necessary adjustments such as the Size, Location etc. Once you are ok with all the adjustments. Go ahead and Undo Step 6.

Step 9 : We are all almost done with the project. All we left to do is Blend the Top Layer.

Go to the top Layer and change it’s Blending mode to “Multiply”. This will fuse the first Layer with the second Layer.

Step 10 : There we go. We have successfully blended the two Layers together.

So now move to the middle Layer (the layer of the tree) and erase all the unwanted areas.

Use different types of Brushes to match your image. Try to get as neat as possible.
