PicsArt Effects Tool is a Top Notch Rendering Tool offered by PicsArt. From basic Blue, Green, Red Fx to Advanced Oil Painting, White Ice, Geode etc.

Hello there! This is Daimary John and in this PicsArt Effects Tutorial. We will learn about the Extraordinary Effects Fx Tool in PicsArt. We will get to know about all the different shades and types of PicsArt Effects Tool.

Kingfisher Bird

For this particular tutorial, I will be using the image above. An image of a beautiful bird from Pexels. As you can see in the image above. The colours of the bird is naturally colourful. Perfect for our Edit.

In order to start the PicsArt Effects Tool, go to PicsArt>Effects. With an icon of two alphabetical characters. These are the (fx) . The interface changes. You will now get to see tons of Effects in the bottom bar. And if you slide it to the left, you’ll see even more. Let us learn more about the PicsArt Effects Tool.

There are a total of 9 different categories of FX in PicsArt. These are

1. Fx

The Fx is the original form of Effects that you add to your images.

You get Fx like HDR, HDR2, Seafoam, Light Cross, B/W, Film etc. All of these Fx are extremely functional. They do what they are meant to. You can slide the Fx bar to the left to view more Fx.

With most of the Fx you get option to adjust the Brightness, Unsharp, Saturation and the amount of Fx using the Fade option. You also get a total of 9 Blending Modes for almost all the Fx.

There are a total of 32 Fx in the lineup. These are,

2. Magic

Magic includes much more Fx to add in your images. The Fx under “Magic” is much more Creative and Unique.

One of my favourite is the “White Ice”. You do get more Fx such as Flora, Pastel etc. Here you get even more Fx to play with. Not to forget, these are way more pleasing and really very creative fleet of Fx.

You can also adjust the amount of Fx, Blending Modes and you can also change the Hue. Overall there are a total of 38 Fx. These are,

3. Blur

Blur Fx is a collection of 6 different shades of Blur that you can add to your images. Replicating real life blur such as Lens Blur.

As mentioned above. You get a total of 6 different types of Blur Modes. And with the help of the Eraser Tool, you can also create a blurred background.

4. Artistic

Artistic Fx contains Fx to replicate an Artist’s Art on a Paper. Such as Oil Painting, Sketch, Pencil, Poster etc.

6. Paper

With the help of Paper Fx, you can create even more realistic Arts making your images look, “Drawn on Paper”.

Such realistic Fx! Just have a look at the image above. You can create or make your images look as if it was hand drawn on paper.

Here with all the Fx you get options like Intensity, Gamma, Median, Vignette and Fade. Not to forget. The Blending Modes are present.

Here you get just one Fx, “Stenciler”. But with 8 different Shades.

7. Distort

Distort simply means to change the original shape. Say Pull or Stretch.

With the help of the Distort Fx, You can Pull, Stretch, Rotate, Swirl and etc. with your images.

Here you get a total of 10 different Distort Shades with additional adjustments such as Zoom, Blur, Shift, Rotate, Radius etc.

8. Colors

Colors allow you adjust the Colours, Replace the Colours, Adjust Saturation, Brightness, Contrast etc.

You can adjust all the Colors just ike the Adjustments Tool. One fine idea about the PicsArt Fx Colors is that you can also replace the colours. You can do this by selecting a colour and then adjusting the hue.
