PicsArt Editing Tools: Callout Tool | PicsArt Callout Tool Explained

PicsArt Callout Tool is one of the basic editing or a little touch up tool which can be used to make Comics.

Hello there! This is Daimary John and in this post, PicsArt Callout Tool. We will learn how to use the Callout Tool and we will also learn about it’s uses.

For this particular tutorial, I will be using the image below. It’s an image of Two Beautiful birds together on a branch of a tree. I found this image on Pexels.

In order to get started with PicsArt Callout Tool, go to PicsArt>Callout. The Callout Tool is in the end. So you’ll have to slide the toolbar to the left.

As soon as you tap on the Callout Tool. The interface changes into a Text Bar in the center, The image above, and the Callout on the bottom.

Just tap on any desired shape and start typing. You can type anything you would like to.

The Callout Tool can actually be used to make Comics! A quick and a fun comic can be made with the help of the Callout Tool.

You get a total of 13 different designs of the Callout itself.


You can also adjust each Callout to meet your requirements.

PicsArt Callout Tool Options

You can increase or decrease the width of the Callout by pulling the little “Square Shaped Button” present in the right side of the Callout.

In order to increase or decrease the size of the Callout evenly. You can do so by using the little arrow shaped button on the bottom right. Refer to the image above for more information.


You can change the Colour, Text (Font) , Blending Modes, and adjust the Opacity of the Callout Tool.

PicsArt Callout Tool Customization

You can change the colour of the Callout to 8 different colours. All the colours are present under the “Fill” Option.

You do get additional options such as the Blending Modes, Fonts and the Opacity. You can do so by selecting the desired option. Refer to the image above for more information.
